So Wyatt finally loses the front tooth that has been dangling for weeks now.

We talked about how exciting it would be to lose such an important tooth on his 7th birthday.

But it was bittersweet for him, as he prepared for the tooth fairy he said, "I'll miss you tooth. You were a good little chopper."

Taking a spur of the moment Saturday trip.

At a pit stop Zane admires the scenery yelling, "The Blue Ridge Mountains!"

Colt says, "They aren't blue, they're green."

Wyatt adds, "The trees look like giant broccoli."

We've enjoyed the hot air balloons in our neighborhood this week.

When I got home from work and pulled into the driveway Zane yelled, "Mommy I hear the balloons huffing and puffing"...

So we hopped in the car to see if we could see the free show!

So Zane is experiencing his first power outage.

He says in his best huffy voice, "The storm stole the light."

Reminded this morning that no matter how much I plan, sometimes the most magical moments literally fall from the sky.

So the best part of Colt's birthday party...hearing him exclaim repeatedly, "This is the best day ever!"
